Midi Skirts in my opinion are a wardrope staple and the perfect classy addition to a woman’s closet. It’s flattering on almost any figure if styled correctly and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The Donna Mizani midi skirt i’m wearing features a front slit which gives it a real sexy vibe and looks great paired with a sweater and thigh high boots for a fall/winter look. For warmer weather i love pairing my midi skirt with peplum tops, crop tops, bodysuits or a graphic / simple tee. For a more conservative look, i love to pair it with button down shirts and beautiful loose fitting blouse which is also nice for workwear. I’m obsessed with bodysuits at the moment, so i paired my skirt with a black bodysuit by clayton and a snakeskin clutch from JJ Winters. I feel midi skirts look best when worn with heels and simply work well worn both formally and casually. Thanks for reading…

This month has honestly been crazy nonstop with work and traveling. I finally got back from DC monday and truly enjoyed spending time with family, friends and loved all the amazing things DC has to offer.
Although summer is here, our mornings are usually little cooler. The day of this shoot was one of those cool mornings so i opted for something a bit warmer. I paired my 7 for all mankind jeans with this tank from love indie, a beautifully tailored off white blazer, steve madden multi colored heels and my two favorite pieces in this look, my Zac Posen eartha leather bag and my Natalie B necklace.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty busy! Friday i drove 2 hours to Chicago for a birthday party then back saturday.
Although i had an amazing time celebrating my friends birthday, Chicago is a city i can only take in small doses. Don’t get me wrong. It’s one of the best cities in the country. If you’ve never been there, then you definitely have to visit. From the art museum to amazing restaurants and can’t leave out the insane night life. There is never a dual moment there. Always something to do. I love this city but visiting this weekend also reminded me why i moved back home to Wisconsin (don’t judge me, lol). I couldn’t take the traffic! Honestly if it wasn’t for that, this city will be perfect! Ok enough of my rant! 🙂
Isn’t this Reese + Riley Blazer divine? I’ve never been one to wear bold colors and definitely not red! I’ve always stayed with black, white, grey etc, you know safe colors that go with practically anything and easy to style. When i saw this fitted blazer, i just had to get my hands on them and it’s quickly become one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. Not only is this perfect for summer / spring, but reese + riley blazers will guarantee a return on your investment. They are high quality and very well tailored. I paired with a light pink blouse from the same designer. To complete my look, i opted for other favorites, level 99 jeans, jj winters chain bag and these old blush heels from steve madden. Let me know what you think of this look. Love reading your comments! 🙂 Have a great day……..

Hellooo! Hope you’re having an amazing week. Me? not so much. I’ve been battling a horrible cold and cough all week and finally getting little better. On a brighter not, spring is here and couldn’t be happier 🙂 I’m looking forward to finally being outside, smelling all the beautiful flowers, hiking and best of all gardening! I love to garden, mainly planting flowers. For me waking up very early in the morning working on my garden is so therapeutic, peaceful and it’s my me time. So i’m really looking forward to it.
With this outfit i went with my favorite go to look for spring and summer, “The Maxi Dress” :). I love maxi dresses and it’s almost all i wear during the warm weather. This dress is by sky clothing. I’m beyond obsessed with this brand and their amazing line of maxi dresses. They’re so flattering on any shape and size and just hangs on the body beautifully. If you own one then you know what i mean 🙂
Hope you have an amazing day and see you on my next post! 🙂
