It’s no secret i’m a huge fan of blazers. They really complete any outfit and love the class and sophistication it brings. I have really been investing in blazers lately and this emerald number was a must the moment i saw them. Not only is the color gorgeous, the tailoring is exactly what i look for in a blazer. It added a nice accent to this all black look. I paired it with my zac posen bag and these beautiful lace up shoes that i’m currently obsessing over 🙂 Have a great day!

Tolani tunic dresses are a must for me in the summer and this piece i’m wearing is stunning from every angle. What i love about this tunic is it’s vibrant fabric and the soft feel. Made of 100% silk, this dress feels very light and drapes on the body beautifully. The design is simple yet eye catching, feminine and looks good worn alone or with jeans. It also make a nice beach coverup!

Midi Skirts in my opinion are a wardrope staple and the perfect classy addition to a woman’s closet. It’s flattering on almost any figure if styled correctly and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The Donna Mizani midi skirt i’m wearing features a front slit which gives it a real sexy vibe and looks great paired with a sweater and thigh high boots for a fall/winter look. For warmer weather i love pairing my midi skirt with peplum tops, crop tops, bodysuits or a graphic / simple tee. For a more conservative look, i love to pair it with button down shirts and beautiful loose fitting blouse which is also nice for workwear. I’m obsessed with bodysuits at the moment, so i paired my skirt with a black bodysuit by clayton and a snakeskin clutch from JJ Winters. I feel midi skirts look best when worn with heels and simply work well worn both formally and casually.   Thanks for reading…

Finally we are getting a much needed break from all the rain here in madison. Today i’m showing you how i paired the irresistibly soft and stylish maxi skirt from clayton. I was super excited to put it on, as i’ve been searching for a skirt like this. The way it drapes down and it’s length makes it flattering to the body. It’s sexy yet sophisticated. It’s the perfect summer wardrobe item that’s easy to throw on with just about anything and still looks great. Pairing it with this simple, bright, button down shirt by rails clothing gave it an added pop of color and brought some warmth to the look! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hi Guys! With memorial weekend just a few days away, i thought this dress from tolani collection would be perfect for any parties /cookouts this long weekend:) I mean look at this dress? it’s so light weight and silky soft that i could even sleep in them. It seriously feels amazing but what i loved the most about them is it’s unique print, beautiful blend of colors, which the tolani brand is known for. Their very vibrant and bold colors remind me of fabrics from back home in Ghana.

Although i paired mine with sandals and an oversized bag, this dress can literally be worn in so many ways. Style with heels for a more polished look or loose the belt and it’s a caftan. No wonder Vanessa Hudgens wore the navy version. When i look at this dress and the tolani collection as a whole, i think unique, culture and comfort!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty busy! Friday i drove 2 hours to Chicago for a birthday party then back saturday.

Although i had an amazing time celebrating my friends birthday, Chicago is a city i can only take in small doses. Don’t get me wrong. It’s one of the best cities in the country. If you’ve never been there, then you definitely have to visit. From the art museum to amazing restaurants and can’t leave out the insane night life. There is never a dual moment there. Always something to do. I love this city but visiting this weekend also reminded me why i moved back home to Wisconsin (don’t judge me, lol). I couldn’t take the traffic! Honestly if it wasn’t for that, this city will be perfect! Ok enough of my rant! 🙂

Isn’t this Reese + Riley Blazer divine? I’ve never been one to wear bold colors and definitely not red! I’ve always stayed with black, white, grey etc, you know safe colors that go with practically anything and easy to style. When i saw this fitted blazer, i just had to get my hands on them and it’s quickly become one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. Not only is this perfect for summer / spring, but reese + riley blazers will guarantee a return on your investment. They are high quality and very well tailored. I paired with a light pink blouse from the same designer. To complete my look, i opted for other favorites, level 99 jeans, jj winters chain bag and these old blush heels from steve madden. Let me know what you think of this look. Love reading your comments! 🙂 Have a great day……..
